Coverage

Check region, number support, and device requirements.

Coverage tells you where an Onyx mobile plan is designed to work.

Use it to choose the right region, confirm country support, check number availability, understand voice and SMS support, and prepare your device before activation.

Readiness

Coverage readiness check

Check the practical conditions that determine whether service can activate and work as expected.

Review

3/5 checks complete

Review incomplete checks before checkout or travel.

Coverage Regions

Onyx groups mobile service into regional and global coverage areas.

North America covers the United States and Canada. Europe covers supported European countries. APAC covers supported Asia Pacific countries. MENA covers supported Middle East and North Africa countries. Global combines supported countries across multiple regions.

Choose the region that matches your actual travel or living pattern. If you need service across multiple regions, choose Global.

Data Coverage

Data coverage lets your phone connect to supported roaming networks after activation.

Use mobile data for messaging, browsing, maps, email, hotspot, video calls, and remote work based on your plan and local network conditions.

Coverage quality can vary by city, airport, rural area, transit route, indoor environment, building materials, local carrier load, and device hardware. Supported country coverage does not mean identical speed or signal quality in every location.

Voice And SMS Availability

Voice and SMS are separate from data coverage.

Some regions support data only. Others support data plus voice, data plus SMS, or local numbers. If calls, SMS, or verification codes matter for your use case, confirm number support before checkout.

Voice and SMS availability depends on region, number inventory, carrier support, local telecom rules, and verification requirements.

Device Compatibility

Your device must be able to use the network.

That means eSIM support, compatible bands, roaming support where required, and unlocked status when carrier restrictions apply. A phone can work well in one region and still struggle in another if required bands or roaming behavior differ.

After installation, you may need roaming enabled, the Onyx line selected for mobile data, updated cellular settings, or a restart.

Roaming And Registration

Onyx service uses supported local carrier agreements.

When you arrive in a supported country, your device registers with an available network. Registration can take a few minutes and may take longer when local networks are congested, signal is weak, or the device is moving between roaming partners.

Crossing borders can briefly interrupt service while the phone searches for a supported network.

Before You Travel

Check the plan before you rely on it.

Confirm the selected coverage area, included countries, data allowance, number support, voice and SMS support, device compatibility, and roaming settings. Install before departure when possible and keep Wi-Fi available during activation.

If the plan supports the country but service still needs attention, start with device settings: roaming, line selection, signal, restart, and local registration time.
